Streptomycin Gentamicin and Neomycin Combo Rapid Test Strip 96 Tests/Kit
1. Specifications
8 strips/bottle, 12 bottles/kit
2. Introduction
Streptomycin, Gentamicin and Neomycin 2-in-1 Rapid Test Strips are
based on colloidal gold immunochromatography for the qualitative
detection of streptomycin, gentamicin and Neomycin residues. The
whole test only takes 10 minutes, and the operation sensitivity of
Dongdong is high.
3. Detection limit:
Name | Detection limit (ppb) |
Streptomycin/dihydro streptomycin | 5-10/10-15 |
Gentamicin | 3-5 |
Neomycin | 5-10 |
4. Contents
Test strip | 8strip/bottle |
Red powder micro-well | 8 micro-well/bottle |
Desiccant | 2piece/bottle |
Instruction | 1 piece |
5. Principles
Streptomycin, gentamicin and neomycin combination rapid test strips
are based on the principle of competitive inhibition
immunochromatography. During the process, the antibiotic in the
sample binds to the antibiotic-specific colloidal gold-labeled
monoclonal antibody, which inhibits the binding of the antibody to
the antibiotic-BSA conjugate on the NC membrane detection line,
resulting in discoloration of the detection line. When the
concentration is at or above the detection limit, the T line is
lighter than the C line or the T line has no color or the T line is
the same color as the C line. When there is no antibiotic residue
in the sample or the concentration is lower than the detection
limit, the T line is darker than the C line; regardless of whether
there is any antibiotic residue in the sample, the C line will
appear, indicating that the detection is effective.
6. Operating procedures
6.1 Please read the manual carefully before use. Return the test
strips and samples that will be used to room temperature.
6.2 Take out the required bottle from the kit, take out the
required microwell, mark it accordingly, please use it within 1
hour. Remember to seal the lid to avoid moisture.
6.3 Use a micropipette to take 200ul of the sample into the
microwell, and repeat 5 to 10 times to mix the sample with the
reagent in the microwell, until the naked eye judges that there is
no solid (this is a very important step).
6.4 The first step (40±2℃) incubate for 5min.
6.5 Then insert the test strip into the microwell, put the end with
the MAX down into the liquid, and incubate the second step at
(40±2℃) for 5min.
6.6 Take out the test strip and read the result as shown in the
figure. Reading results at other times are invalid.
7. Interpretation of test results
Color depth comparison of T line and C line | Result judgment | Result analysis |
T line > C line | Negative | Antibioticsresidue is lower than detection limit in sample |
T line = C line | Weak positive | Antibiotics residue is equal to detection limit in sample |
T line < C line or T line is invisible | Positive | Antibiotics residue is higher than detection limit in sample |
C line is invisible | Invalid | The test strip is invalid, test again |
8. Precautions
1) This product is suitable for pure milk, goat milk and fresh
milk.
2) Use the test strip once at room temperature, do not use expired
test strips.
3) Cap the bottle immediately after removing the reagent. If the 8
microwells cannot be used at a time, immediately cap the
microwells, put them back in the bottle, and store them in an
airtight container.
4) Do not touch the white film surface in the middle of the test
paper, avoid direct sunlight and direct blowing by fans.
5) Store milk samples refrigerated for no more than 3 days.
6) The milk sample should be completely liquid without any lumps,
sourness and precipitation. The samples were mixed and stirred well
before testing.
7) For high-fat samples, the chromatography is slower, and it is
recommended to extend the second step by an additional 1 minute.
8) Use the test strip again for a positive result.
9. Specificity
This product has no cross-reaction with Quinolones, Sulfonamides
and Melamine etc.
